Lifting the eyes is a common request among patients who want to obtain the “cat eye” look that has grown in popularity. Botox does have some uses around the eyes. Other than treating crow’s feet wrinkles, it can be used to treat some eye disorders including blepharospasm which is involuntary movements of the eyelid. However, for purely cosmetic reasons, lifting the eyes with Botox is sometimes possible, but not usually recommended.
Dermal filler injections into the temple are more effective at lifting the eyes. Though, arguably, used in combination with Botox to treat the crow’s feet and provide a slight raise to the eyebrows this may provide the best results that bridge anti-aging and aesthetic.
