• HOW MANY SYRINGES DO YOU NEED FOR CHIN FILLER?

• CAN YOU DISSOLVE CHIN FILLER?

  If hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm are used then your provider can dissolve it using an agent known as hyaluronidase. This compound dissolves hyaluronic acid and consists of an injection into the treatment area. Therefore, not only does this make the procedure safer, but it also allows patients to dissolve it whenever they like.

  Fillers such as Radiesse and Sculptra are not easily dissolvable. If going with one of these semi-permanent options, it is important to understand that they are not dissolvable and what that means for treatment and results. Typically, these fillers are only recommended to people who need long lasting, dramatic results or those experienced with dermal fillers already.

• IS IT PAINFUL?

  There is a small amount of pain and discomfort associated with the initial injections. Your provider will control this with topical numbing cream. Additionally, most hyaluronic acid fillers have lidocaine in their formula which eases the feeling of the injections as well. • HOW LONG DOES CHIN FILLER LAST?

• IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO BEFORE TREATMENT?

First, avoid alcohol, smoking, and any type of blood thinning medications or supplements for about a week before your injections. If you take a prescription blood thinner, you may not need to cease its use.

  Plan on coming to your appointment without makeup as this will make the process smoother and lower the risk of infection or irritation. Also, if you use retinol, acidic skincare products, or exfoliants, stop using them in the days leading up to your appointment.
