Every celebrity in Hollywood has experienced a run-in with the rumor mill at one point or another in their career. When celebrities have spent most of their lives in the entertainment business, these encounters become more frequent and frustrating to dismiss constantly. Even when stars admit to certain rumors being true or vehemently deny others, there doesn’t seem to be a solution to satisfy the media once there’s blood in the water. One of the perfect examples of a Hollywood star who’s fended off rumors–specifically plastic surgery rumors–over the years is Cher. While the iconic singer has admitted to having several procedures at different points in her life, she’s also faced many speculations about her history with plastic surgery. We won’t add to the noise of the masses by speculating about what Cher has and hasn’t done cosmetically. Instead, we’ll talk about the few surgeries she has openly discussed. What Plastic Surgeries Has Cher Had?

Throughout her decades in the entertainment business, many people have asked Cher about her plastic surgeries. While there have been speculations and rumors about all sorts of procedures, there are only three surgeries that Cher has openly acknowledged:

Rhinoplasty

Like many celebrities, Cher opened up about her cosmetic experiences and talked about her nose job. While rhinoplasty serves many purposes, including resolving medical issues like a deviated septum, some celebrities have this procedure solely for cosmetic reasons. Rhinoplasty, designed to change the shape and size of a nose to flatter the face, was one of the first surgeries Cher ever discussed in an interview.

Breast Augmentation

Another plastic surgery Cher discussed in the same interview as her nose job was a breast augmentation. According to Cher, she did not have the best experience with her breast surgery. She had difficulty after the procedure and was dissatisfied with the results.We could speculate on whether Cher had implants, a breast lift, or some combination of the two; however, we’re not going to discuss anything that isn’t factual and doesn’t come from Cher herself.

Facelift

Several years back, Cher talked about having a facelift. While there have been other rumors about facial surgery, Cher has never confirmed anything except a facelift, which could definitely produce the effects of other rumored procedures.

Cher’s Cosmetic Surgeries: What We Actually Know

There’s speculation surrounding other surgeries Cher may have had over the years, including facial surgeries, body procedures, and non-invasive cosmetic treatments. However, it’s not for us to say whether or not Cher has had any of these cosmetic surgeries. The only surgeries we can confirm Cher has had are the ones she openly discussed, including breast surgery, rhinoplasty, and a facelift. Everything else is simply speculation. We’ll sum it up in Cher’s own words: “You admit to one thing, and then everyone has you doing everything.” Looking at the big picture, it doesn’t matter how many cosmetic surgeries Cher has had. Cher is an iconic figure whether she’s had one procedure or dozens. We can all appreciate her contributions to the entertainment industry and recognize Cher’s incredible talent and beauty–with or without plastic surgery.
